IMPERIAL WAR MUSEUM

The Imperial War Museum is unique in its coverage of conflicts, especially those involving Britain and the Commonwealth from the First World War to the present day. The Museum spans a huge range of activities not only in its main London location but also in its four further branches. It is made up of seven curatorial departments, the Art Collection, Documents, Exhibits and Firearms, Film, and Video Archive, Photographic Archive, Printed Books, Sound Archive and UK National Inventory of War Memorials. The Bridgeman Art Library has wonderful examples of works from the major collections within the museum.
