ARUNDEL CASTLE

The magnificent Arundel Castle in West Sussex has been home to the family of the Duke of Norfolk for over 400 years but the castle itself began as fortifications dating from the reign of William the Conqueror.  The Arundel picture collection contains many portraits that chart the previous inhabitants of the castle throughout the ages – including a saint and two cardinals! The collection also includes some spectacular views by Canaletto as well as photographs of the castle’s sumptuous interior. To visit Arundel Castle’s own website, please click here.
