In late 2008, Abbeville Press along with author Colleen Carroll, published a series of preschool board books entitled How Artists See Jr. These books introduce the world of art to children ages 2-6 by comparing how artists interpret everyday things such as horses, trains and dogs. Abbeville Press licensed three images from Bridgeman Art Library for the covers of this 4-book series along with seven interior images. We love these books because they encourage parents to initiate a dialogue about art with young children.  After all, you are never too young to develop an appreciation for art!
