Patrick Dustmann, a senior at St. Louis University High School in St. Louis, Missouri, is the winner of our First Annual Blank Canvas Design Competition. Using elements from three very quiet Dutch still lifes, Patrick re-imagined Hokusai's iconic work as an earthbound tidal wave of pattern, color and texture.
