We are delighted to welcome Helen Higbee to Bridgeman's North American team. Helen will be based in Los Angeles and will be the West Coast Business Development Director for stills and footage. "Having worked with some of the most valuable and compelling content available to license," Helen said, "I'm extremely excited to represent a collection of the caliber of the Bridgeman Art Library."

Helen comes to Bridgeman with over 20 years of experience in stills and motion image licensing. Helen studied English and Art History at the University of Leeds, and after university started her career in visual archives, rising to a sales management role at Hulton Deutsch. Helen went on to become one of the co- founders of Range Pictures representing the Bettmann Archive in the UK. After the purchase of Range by Bill Gate’s Corbis, Helen was instrumental in starting Corbis’ UK licensing operation and later moved to Los Angeles to set-up the Corbis LA office. Helen's experience of developing the sales territory in the West coast for Corbis, brought her to her next venture of specializing in motion content leading BBC Motion Gallery's West Coast sales team. Subsequent to the BBC partnering with Thought Equity Motion, Helen became the company's West Coast regional sales director.

Helen now considers herself a fairly entrenched "Angeleno."  She lives in Studio City, with her husband and two daughters.
