Examples of Bridgeman licensed imagery: Historic Royal Palaces advertising campaign, Venice book cover, Zucchi homeware advertising campaign, Fleet Foxes album cover
Just Add Stock is for print or online designs that use stock imagery. Anyone can take part, and it’s free to enter.
The awards are for commissioned design work (made since Jan 08) that uses photographs and illustrations from any image library worldwide. They want to see how designers have responded to the challenge of working without commissioned imagery, and there’s a distinguished panel of judges including the director of the Design Museum, London.
Obviously we would like you to submit your stunning designs featuring Bridgeman imagery!
Entry deadline Friday 30 July
Just Add Stock’s finalists will be published in the Autumn / Fall edition, Eye 73, which is also a photography special issue. The writers of Eye will be examining photographers and photography through the thoughts and opinions of graphic designers, art directors, creative innovators and cultural commentators, while their Review section will include recent books on photography, illustration, visual culture, design and art direction.
