In 2009 Michelle Andringa was awarded the Art Gallery of New South Wales Society scholarship. Her proposal was to visit Bridgeman's  London office to research image sales and licensing. In Sydney the copyright department is staffed by three people, with Michelle coordinating the image sales with the assistance of part time staff.

"It has been inspiring to me to be exposed to  such a large image sales team, with their breath of expertise, research skills and the client base. I have much more of a feel for how our collection might meet the publishers' market here in the UK.

Your customised collection image sales and licensing systems are a revelation to me. A fantastic model to aspire to as AGNSW is currently rolling out our image management system. It has been a terrific experience on a professional level and a delightful experience for me as the generosity of all staff has been most appreciated."
